ALM support engineer

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) means a lot for Software Company. Our group provides mission critical ALM Services for the whole Research & Development Department. We support huge highload systems serving more than 100mln operations per day covering full technology stack used for software development. The opportunity for you is to be part of the evolution of internal development support services, and to work in collaboration with multiple product teams inside of R&D (researchers, developers, testing engineers, analysts and other IT professionals).
Responsibilities:
•    Initial processing and classification of incoming requests
•    Resolving customer issues including complex technical scenarios of ALM systems usage problems, development processes automation, troubleshooting end-user performance issues etc.
•    Consulting users on ALM systems functionality and common usage scenarios
•    Registration of Change Requests and Bugs on internal systems and automations provided by Internal Development Team.
•    Documentation and Knowledge base articles development
•    Contacting MS Premium Support in case of disaster or complex problems
•    ALM Methodology support, preparation of recommendations on Project Management processes
•    Act with specific technologies (SQL, PowerShell, Python, etc.) as part of internal development automation ecosystem.
•    Internal testing of pre-production features provided by internal development group

Technical Skills:
•    Technical understanding of software development processes fundamentals (e.g., issue tracking, code versioning, build, test, etc.).
•    Knowledge of Azure DevOps Server (aka TFS) will be a strong plus
•    Excellent skills in Windows Server Administration
•    Knowledge of Unix systems will be a plus
•    Knowledge of Networking fundamentals
•    Knowledge of SQL and scripting (CMD, Bash, PowerShell and Python)
