Position Description (fulltime, remote)

If you are a skilled QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing, passionate about ensuring the quality of products, and seeking an opportunity to contribute to ambitious projects while growing professionally and personally, then this role might be perfect for you.

We are currently seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our team, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing procedures and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work while emphasizing teamwork, positive collaboration, and achieving project goals.

Main Focus/Responsibilities

• Smoke and Regression Testing: Perform smoke testing and manual regression testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Test Cases and Checklists: Develop, write, and maintain high-quality test cases and checklists, ensuring they align with business requirements.
• Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in software.
• Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business analysts to understand and analyze business requirements, preparing relevant test cases.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with development and business analysis teams to ensure comprehensive testing of new features and functionalities.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve overall product quality.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough test documentation and reports to support testing activities.

Preferred/Additional Skills:

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and practices 
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in writing clear and concise test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
• Familiarity with XML/JSON and API testing.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in English for written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
