Backend Developer (Middle)

MOBBIZ Solutions is a technology-driven company specializing in business process consulting, automation, and SaaS solutions. Our platform helps businesses optimize operations, digitize workflows, and improve efficiency through customized process automation.

As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Mid-Level Backend Developer to strengthen our technical team and support the development.

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to work on the MOBBIZ platform’s core architecture, APIs, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have experience in backend development, building secure, efficient, and scalable systems, and working with microservices, APIs, and cloud technologies.

You will work closely with the Tech Lead, Frontend Team, and Business Analysts to implement backend solutions that power MOBBIZ SaaS applications and drive automation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities: 

Backend Development & Code Quality

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices (SOLID principles).
• Test Driven Development (TDD): Demonstrated experience in TDD methodologies. 
• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend APIs, services, and database systems. 
• Implement scalable and secure backend architectures to support growing business needs.
• Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback.

System Performance & Optimization

• Optimize database queries and backend processes for performance and efficiency. 
• Implement caching strategies to improve response times.
• Debug and resolve backend performance bottlenecks and technical issues.

API Development & Integrations

• Develop RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party integrations. 
• Work with third-party services and databases to implement and maintain integrations for client needs.
• Ensure seamless communication between frontend applications and backend services.

Security & Compliance

• Implement best security practices for handling sensitive data.
• Follow GDPR and industry compliance standards in API and data storage.
• Perform regular security testing and vulnerability checks.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience; 3-5+ years of backend development experience

Requirements for the candidate

1. Experience in backend development, building complex SQL queries, reading and understanding existing code, ability to follow SOLID principles
2. Jest/Mocha/Other testing frameworks experience
3. Experience in working with task-tracking systems like Jira, working with code review
4. Experience with Git, Bitbucket/Github/Gitlab, deployment tools and tecniques
5. Node.js, Typescript, NestJS. May also consider strong candidate with experience in other languages and frameworks wtih wide OOP usage, but it’s required to be ready to use Typescript and NestJS
6. PostgreSQL/MySQL
7. Working with linux with CLI
8. Nice to have: Docker, Docker-Compose, AWS/GCP, Dart, Flutter, Frontend experience, RabbitMQ/BullMQ/Celery, Redis, AWS Lambda
