Software Security Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a security engineer responsible for both strategic and practical technical development of security aspects for automotive platform. You will be assigned to an anchor project on development of IVI system for one of European auto manufacturer as well as play a leading role in security domain across auto projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze existing security objectives, security assumptions and security requirements
• Derive additional security requirements and countermeasures
• Define testing capabilities for security requirements
• Create and maintain of the security models and roadmaps based on security requirements
• Develop auditions of security policies, principles and standards covering all areas of the domain architecture
• Providing technical advice and support to developers, system owners and architects
• Design security architecture based on requirements and models

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Specialist-level subject matter expertise 
• Understanding of hardware and software vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of security standards, security systems and authentication protocols
• Knowledge of PKI systems and encryption mechanisms
• Knowledge of different OSs and platforms, Linux (Genivi a plus), RTOS (Integrity a plus)
• Experience with hypervisors and security aspects of hypervisors will be a plus
• Good understanding of security landscape - Vulnerability Management, SIEM, DLP, IT GRC etc.
• Experience in HW and SW security aspects of embedded systems
• Good to have experience of Architecture tools and design standards (Enterprise Architect, UML)
• Engineering & Architect thinking (abstract design, be able to deal with assumptions, be able to survive without actual coding)
• Architecture documentation (Architectural Views, MS Word)
• Requirements management experience a plus
• ISO 26262 experience a plus
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH or other information security certifications
• Experience with Automotive standards will be a plus
