Senior JavaScript developer

Genesys is looking for a talented Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team!

Senior JavaScript Developer at this position will perform development and support of reporting and analytical applications (http://www.genesys.com/platform-services/reporting-analytics) concentrating on processing of real time data as well as displaying it in dashboard web application. This job is for you, if you are passionate about data visualization, modern web technologies like AngularJS, ES6 and have ability to work independently and in a team and have a solid track record of implementing software projects.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

• Work with Product Management, customers and the rest of the Engineering team to identify work priorities.
• Communicate with UX team to deliver great customer experience.
• Support and extend existing reporting dashboard application that perform data display and processing.
• Actively contribute to in-house developed AngularJS based UI framework.
• Continuously improve software quality through unit tests and code review process.
• Use and develop best practices for implementing software and coordinate their implementation with the rest of the Engineering team.

Required Skills:

• 2-4 year of dedicated experience working with client side JS as well as frameworks such as AngularJS.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Java is a strong plus (at least some experience writing and reading Java code).
• Node.js is a plus.
• Functional programming is a plus.
