Description:
Work in the IT team of the big US online publisher.
You will work closely with production and development teams to develop and maintain hight performance SOLR search system.
Required skills:
- Ability to configure SOLR multi-core schema
- Maintain high availability of the system
- Configure and maintain distributed configuration
- Support Apache Cocoon pipeline to convert incoming documents to SOLR format. This point expects strong XSLT knowledge.
- Good knowledge of Linux shell, GIT.
The following skills are not required, but would be a good bonus for you:
PHP, Java, Drupal, HTML/Css, Javascript/Jquery, Backbone.js, Marionette.js.
Good spoken english is required.
