About Womanly:

Womanly is a female-founded startup developing a mobile app for premium-quality romance audiobooks. Our Product, Tempt: Romance Audiobooks, is an entertainment app where romance novels serve sexual wellness needs. We want to create a safe space for women to spark desire and explore their sexuality built on top of the strong product core - romance audiobooks, which our consumers adore.

About the role:

It’s a fantastic time to join our team as we start scaling our mobile app Tempt: Romance Audiobooks. We aim to pioneer the romance audiobook space while also delivering social value by addressing female sexual wellness needs.

We’re looking for a talented individual to join us as a Product Manager with a proven track record in building B2C mobile apps, a strong background in product analytics and a business mindset.

This is a strategically important role, and your impact will be high. You will actively participate in setting the vision for the product's core user experience, be responsible for defining and delivering a product strategy, own a roadmap, and lead a product development team.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • 4+ years of product management experience in developing and launching ****consumer mobile apps.
  • Delivered significant features that have a proven impact on the business.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, using data and metrics to back up assumptions and drive actions. Proficiency with Amplitude and SQL.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and experimentation and delivering products and projects on tight deadlines.
  • Strong focus on the things that matter most.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex topics effectively on different levels.
  • Impeccable organisational and time management skills
  • Experience at a startup is not required but preferred

Responsibilities

Strategy & Vision:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop a product vision.
  • Define a product strategy that identifies opportunities with the biggest consumer impact.
  • Drive decision-making through customer insights to validate hypothesis, quantitative analysis, and A/B testing

Product Roadmap:

  • Own, develop and maintain the product roadmap aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to describe and review feature requirements, prioritise tasks, and plan and ship releases within committed delivery dates.
  • Drive product and monetisation features through their entire development cycle: ideation, research, validation, prioritisation, development, release, analysis, and iteration.
  • Identify potential roadblocks and dependencies.
  • Identify opportunities for A/B tests, set KPIs, analyse results, and draw actionable conclusions.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Work with Amplitude and internal BI to monitor key product metrics and use data to make evidence-based decisions to improve the product, enhance the customer experience, and achieve key business metrics.
  • Create analytical reports and share the data with the broader team.

Technology and Industry Trends:

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to our business and identify the opportunities to leverage these trends effectively.

Customer-Centric Approach:

  • Identify our users' challenges and continuously develop solutions to enhance the product and the user experience.
  • Conduct regular user interviews and surveys.
