QA manual engineer

      Duration: full-time, contract to hire one year

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer to join our mobile app development team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of our mobile apps, including both iOS and Android platforms.
• You will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly mobile products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our mobile apps.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify and report defects and issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure the timely resolution of defects and issues
• Analyze and report on software quality metrics, providing recommendations for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technology and testing methodologies, and recommend new tools and approaches as needed.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mobile quality assurance engineer with a strong understanding of both iOS and Android platforms
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach to quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including iOS and Android platforms
• Experience with testing mobile app UI, functionality, and performance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile development environment
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
