CTO (Backend/data pipelines traction)

We are a data analytics company that specializes in Business Intelligence (BI) and profiling. In 2022, we secured investments from Tier 1 funds from the US and China and collaborate with large international clients.

Presently, we are separating one of our projects into a standalone unit. To establish a high-performing, scalable infrastructure for handling high loads, we seek a C-level specialist with a track record in backend/data pipeline development. At the moment, we work with various providers and are focused on optimizing our pipeline architecture. Our team are experienced tech-entrepreneurs and developers. And we are looking for ambitious, motivated and focused Senior Engineer to help us build the next generation of our platforms. As a dedicated systems engineer, you will gain ownership of our services, as well as have the ability to influence the creation, design, and execution of future features and products.

Tasks:

1. Organization of the work of two departments of the company
2. Establishing a process for organizing the development and documentation process
3. Implementation of high-load data pipelines from multiple sources with the team
4. Sorting and standardizing stream processing and aggregation
5. Organizing the work of the rest of the development team (frontend, research, devops)
6. Development and implementation of methods for analyzing and indexing new data sources

Skills:

• Good knowledge of modern technologies and approaches, and agility in their use.
• Ability to work with data pipelines
• Advanced level of backend (most preferable Node.js, Python, SQL, go, kotlin, rust)
• Skills in working with relational and non-relational data and their processing
• Skills in working with high-loads/multithreaded systems
• Setting up monitoring/testing systems

Desirable:

• A deep understanding of blockchain (not cryptocurrencies) architecture is desirable
• Basic devops experience (Docker preferable)
• Knowledge of Express.js, Next.js or other js frameworks

Remote work.
With potential for full-time and relocation (if desired).

After completing the first level, it is assumed that you will be included in an option program or receive a share in the company.
