Key responsibilities:

• Build complex Ruby on Rails (and some Go) applications
• Build server-side infrastructure for the user interface
• Integrate data storage solutions
• Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle
• Evaluate and propose improvements to existing system
• Provide code reviews
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements:

• Strong experience developing, shipping and maintaining Rails applications (5+ years)
• Vast knowledge of Ruby, experience with high-load backend applications
• Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms and how they are used
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
• Good understanding of DB technologies: classic databases and modern no-SQL​​​​​​​
• Fluent English
