Lisp / Clojure Engineer

Mercury Development is looking to hire a Lisp/Clojure Engineer!

Requirements:

1. SageMaker experience is a huge plus since that is what we are using for model deployment.

2 .Expert experience with Python and building packages

3. Object oriented programming experience

4. Software testing experience such as building unit and integration tests for code

5.Experience building and interacting with APIs

6. Experience with Clojure, Common Lisp and MarkLogic

7. 5 years of software development experience.

8. Two years of software development experience in a large-scale, data-intensive project.

9. English - C1 level

Responsibilities:

1.As an EDI Software Engineer, you will design, create, and maintain software that interfaces with clearinghouses, Medicaid agencies, and plan sponsors. 

2. As part of a small team, using technologies such as Clojure, Lisp, and MarkLogic. 

3. You will be responsible for the accuracy of our most critical data and solve difficult engineering problems in a distributed system with terabytes of data while ensuring performance and scalability. 

4. Working with a variety of data formats including X12, XML, and TSV.

5. Working with a variety of databases including MarkLogic, Postgres, and Datomic.

6. Implementing new interfaces or adjust existing interfaces for new major customers, typically representing around 1 million members
