Primary Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for the following activities:

• Participate in team meetings, planning, retrospectives, and design sessions to validate requirements and infuse testing needs.

• Create and document test cases based on requirements.

• Execute tests and document test results.

• Generate defects for issues uncovered during testing.

• Maintain and establish test data.

• Develop Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Analysis Reports in Jira.

• Perform testing to ensure the application is free of defects and meets customer business needs.

• Perform verification and regression tests every release.

• Produce reports on the quality of each release.

• Assist the development team in debugging and reproducing reported issues.

• Apply problem solving and analytical skills to characterize or resolve complex issues.

• Work on a Scrum team, responsible for manual testing of web services and other front-end processes

• Coordinate test coverage with automation engineer

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a software development environment as a tester with expertise in QA processes.

• Excellent testing skills and knowledge of test planning, processes and execution with the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of software development life cycles and quality processes.

• Knowledge in ticket tracking tools like JIRA.

• Skills in problem/issue identification, documentation, tracking and resolution.

• Excellent communication skills (Russian/English).

• Knowledge of JMeter is a plus.

• Knowledge of load testing tool Gatling is a plus.

• Knowledge of testing microservices

• Experience with REST, Postman to test APIs
