Architect (Contact Center)

The Contact Center team creates completely new omni-channel product. New product will be the single source for companies communication with clients: from call-centers to digital channels - WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, email, sms, etc. We create product that will help companies be closer to their customers and respond to their requests as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the Engineering, Product, Operation organizations assisting in technical evaluation, requirements analysis, scope definition, functional and technical design.
• Serve as software/system architect by providing technical guidance to other team members for the design, implementation and support of Engage Digital architecture.
• Design and maintain architecture solutions documentation.
• Collaborate with other Architects in designing architecture roadmaps, driving architectural discussions, advocating and defining the architecture vision from a strategic perspective.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years in a lead / senior engineering role with hands-on experience in building distributed, scalable, fault tolerant enterprise applications.
• Experience with ruby based applications on cloud solutions.
• Good English level (intermediate+) as it will require to communicate in verbal and writing forms.

Prefered qualifications:

• Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing highly-distributed cloud-based systems, including application, data, network layers.
• Experience with hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration.
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, object-oriented designs, and client/server distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with: Ruby, Mongo, Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and writing form to business and technology leaders, architects, developers, and team members, as you will be regularly interacting between teams distributed across the US, France and Russia.
