Fullstack Developer

Paxful is looking for a Full Stack Developer to strengthen our teams by building both customer facing and back office applications. This role will contribute to develop new features end-to-end to improve time-to-market of our services. You will be based out of our St. Petersburg office and report to our and report to our Director, Engineering.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will entail:

• Write simple but efficient, testable, and reusable code
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Work closely with stakeholders on product features
• Be responsible for a feature end-to-end, from ideation to deployment in the production environment
• Help to troubleshoot, test and maintain the product

The most important skill and capabilities for this role are: 

• Design, build and maintain PHP applications with React frontend
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, testable and modular code
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Help to troubleshoot, test and maintain the product
• Follow company coding standards
• Perform code reviews and mentor your peers
• Cover your code with tests

Target Experience: 

• 3+ years of the commercial web development (PHP/JS/React) 
• Strong knowledge and skills in PHP 7.3+
• Experience with frameworks Laravel 6.x, Symphony5.x
• Experience with ReactJS, Redux, Typescript
• Good knowledge of relational databases - PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases - MongoDB
• Working with the high-load systems
• Good verbal and written English

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience with microservices
• Experience with AWS and knowledge of AWS architecture patterns
• Interest in cryptocurrencies
