Tech Lead - Marketplace

What You’ll Do

• Work alongside with Engineering Team
• Build scalable, highly available, robust systems and ensure their continuous delivery
• Solve complex technical challenges that play a critical role in the overall platform scalability
• Lead peer engineers to ensure that the most appropriate technical solution are used
• Collaborate with product managers in order to translate business requirements into an actionable implementation plan
• Evangelise software craftsmanship principles to peer engineers

We Expect You Have

• • Hands-on experience with distributed systems development in PHP (Laravel, Symfony) 
  • Experience with ReactJS, Redux, Typescript
  • Experience with RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL), key-value stores such as Redis and document-based databases such as MongoDB
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Lead and 3 years as a Senior Software Engineer
  • Experience in building distributed applications using RabbitMQ, Kafka or other message buses
  • Strong understanding of OOD and SOLID principles
  • Ready to work with the existing codebase, update and improve it
  • Good understanding of security threats and “security by design” principles
  • Good verbal and written English
