Senior Java Developer (System Engineer/ remote or Barcelona)

About Product:

          We develop an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), a single AI-based platform that enables to integrate 300+ apps (such as Salesforce, Amazon apps, Slack etc.), unify and automate workflows, data and team interaction across these applications with robust security and governance.

What you will be responsible for:

• Optimization and scaling system architecture
• System, platform and low-level tasks
• Developing drivers and connectors
• Providing high availability and system performance during accessing different client services and databases
• Ensuring transfer of large amounts of data and load balancing
• Zero-downtime deployment
• Providing network traffic control, routing control, security and data encryption
• Solving security issues with clients
• Providing code reviews to teammates

We expect that you have:

• 7+ years in software development
• 5+ years in Java development
• Deep knowledge of Java internals (incl. Java Core and JDBC)
• Experience in developing multithreaded applications in Java
• Experience working with asynchronous I/O
• Experience working with database (SQL mostly, NoSQL, incl. cloud ones)
• Experience working with production infrastructure
• Experience working with high-load and high-performance systems
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of network protocols
• English level: Upper-Intermediate+ (B2)

Would be a plus:

• Experience in low-level development (C/C++)
• Experience with Spring
• Experience working in startups
• Contributions to open source projects
• Ability to switch quickly to another language if necessary
