Backend developer

Nexus is a data analytics platform working with complex biological and machine learning data. Specific focus on the streamlining of real-time manipulation of large datasets and interaction with auto-ML platforms. Researchers will upload raw test results and will get medical insights automatically. We are looking for a Backend Developer to join as the first employee to develop a scalable web platform from the ground up. 

What you will do:

• Develop the analytics platform from scratch
• Develop data architecture and processing pipelines
• Create servers and databases
• Create security and data protection settings
• Design and develop APIs
• Work together with algo team on models integration

What we expect:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Postgres, etc.
• Experience with Hadoop or Spark is a strong plus
