Senior Backend Developer (PHP/Go)

SmartTel Plus is an Estonian company with its headquarters in Tallin and offices in Poland, Italy, Latvia and Russia. We offer intelligent cloud solutions and develop software solutions for communication services for businesses in Europe.

We offer applications (Dzinga and Apifonica) for processing calls with the use of complex algorithms. We are building general-purpose communication platform Apifonica (https://apifonica.com) to manage voice and communication services in real time. Basing on this platform we also implement complex custom solutions for large clients, such as SkyEng, Yandex LLC (abroad activities), Google LLC, Sportium (Spain), Hebe (Poland), Exponea (Poland), LPP (Poland) and others.

Our main technology stack tools are: Go, MongoDB, gRPC, RESTful, Docker, AWS, Prometheus, and Gitlab.

Job description:

• collecting requirements and developing architecture of applications and products,
• managing processes of a development group (2-4 people),
• managing full cycle of software development and release,
• carrying out technological integrations with customer applications and their processes,
• solving high-load issues,
• development of customer SDK libraries,
• improving the process of delivering value to customers.

Candidate specification:

• at least 1-3 years of experience in a similar role,
• good knowledge of Russian and English,
• knowledge of Design patterns and understanding of Web services development principles,
• experience in high-load projects,
• experience with third-party API integration,
• experience in development management,
• experience in the development of highly loaded backend and API components based on Go and MongoDB,
• experience in building services with synchronous and asynchronous integrations,
• understanding and acceptance of Agile manifest values.

It will be a plus if you:

• have worked in a Scrum-Team,
• have experience with AI,
• have experience in Domain Driven Design principles,
• have experience in telephony platforms (FreeSWITCH, Asterisk).
