Wintel Infrastructure Support Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Wintel systems
• Core infrastructure services
• Virtual infrastructure
• On-site hardware support
• Maintenance of documentation and inventory
• Resilience, capacity and performance of the infrastructure
• Adherence to ITIL key principles and internal procedures: change management, approvals chains, etc.
• Accountability for high critical environment that must be available 24x7x365

Required experience and knowledge:

• A degree in technical field and\or equivalent qualifications
• Excelent knowledge and minimum of 5 years’ experience with Enterprise IT systems
• Hands on experience of support high critical systems and applications
• Virtual environment essentials (VMware vSphere 6)
• Microsoft Windows 2008, 2012 R2 platforms running in virtual (VMware VSphere 6) and physical SAN attached environments
• Microsoft Active Directory 2008, 2012 R2
• Microsoft Windows failover clustering
• Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2016
• Terminal solutions (Citrix XenApp, Microsoft RDS)
• Messaging platforms (Microsoft Lync 2013, BES 12, GOOD)
• VDI technologies based on VMware and Citrix
• Enterprise hardware
• HP ProLiant servers and blade systems (including virtual connect)
• Routines automation and scripting (bulk execution, change tracking, unattended deployment, monitoring, etc.)
• Networking fundamentals: routing, switching, link aggregation
• Knowledge of Microsoft System Center products, Quest Software tools, HP One View, Hyperconverged infrastructure based on Nutanix stack and certification on the above mentioned Microsoft technologies will be a plus

• Able to provide regular in-time updates and reports to the management
• Ready for overtime/weekend activities
• Fluent English speaker to communicate with English speaking colleagues and support
• Able to work in shifts
