Zvooq is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join Data Engineering team. Here at Zvooq we’re eager to make every decision data-driven, so we need your help to build a great data infrastructure in order to make it possible.
What you’ll be doing:
As a member of Data Engineering team, your key responsibility will be developing tools for large-scale cluster data processing for various purposes.
About you:
We expect successful candidate to have several years of experience as a Software Developer and be comfortable working with technologies and tools, we’re using:
- Python
- Hadoop ecosystem (ex. HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Spark)
- Bash
- SQL
The following skills are not mandatory, however would be a big advantage for a candidate:
- Background in algorithms and data structures
- Experience with Machine Learning and Recommender Systems
- Java basics
- Data visualisation experience
