Ruby on Rails Developer

Our team, located in Kiev, Ukraine is looking for a full-stack, Ruby on Rails enthusiast to help us build out and maintain our product. We're looking for someone who is smart, can get things done, and knows how to have fun and work with a team while doing it!

You...

• 2+ years of Ruby and Rails experience
• Located in Kiev, Ukraine or willing to relocate
• A firm grasp of web application basics: HTTP, SSL, database, browser quirks, and so on.
• Experience using standard web technologies: HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, SOAP, AJAX, JavaScript, and JavaScript libraries.
• Total comfort on a Unix command line including GIT.
• Take pride in solving hard problems to the best of your ability.
• Can figure out how to get things done without someone telling you what to do.
• Enjoy teaching and learning from others

Nice to Have

• Interest and/or experience with emerging technologies such as NoSQL databases or Node.js.
• Experience with the Rails asset pipeline and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS.
• Experience developing mobile web applications, iOS apps, or native desktop apps.
• Examples of open source projects (on GitHub or elsewhere).
