Hi there
I am a Data Scientist with 2+ years of experience in the area. My expertise lies in constructing machine learning models and natural language processing algorithms using Python, Apache Spark, Hadoop platforms, SQL, scikit-learn, NLTK, Gensim, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
Additionally, I have had plenty of practice in data exploration, data cleaning, feature engineering, model selection & evaluation, hyperparameter optimization and deploying ML/NLP solutions to production.
Some projects I've worked on are:
- Developed end-to-end ML pipelines for Default Loan Detection
- Performed sentiment analysis on tweets for Stock Predictions
- Designed an automated hyperparameter tuning algorithm based on Bayesian optimization
- Implemented Named Entity Recognition for legal documents, dependency parsing, word2vec, GloVe
- Designed an AI-based system to detect fraudulent activities in financial transactions
- Created a customer evaluation system in Python based on behavioral databases
In the future, I plan on continuing to learn new technologies and hone my existing skills so that I can stay up-to-date with the ever changing field of Data Science. With this knowledge, I hope to be able contribute more meaningful insights into projects which will have an impact on society as a whole.

- Worked on a default detection project. Was engaged in data processing, feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning
- Started and single-handedly finished side projects for 2 local banks. The number of default loans in their portfolios was decreased respectively by 23% and 35%
- Took part in research for clustering feature selection methods and designed an algorithm that allowed us to integrate 2 international behavioral databases (WVS and CRRC) into the decision making process. It increased the performance by 5-10%
