We’re seeking a skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our platform, ensuring that our systems are robust, efficient, and scalable. If you’re an experienced developer with a passion for both backend and frontend technologies, we’d love to have you on our team.

Main Stack:

• Frontend: Svelte.js, JS, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS - Frontend/CMS/platform
• Backend: Node.js, Postgres, q/kdb - Backend & core
• AWS as our cloud provider
• Tools: git, Linear, Atlassian stack - for source control and management

Related/auxiliary & future stack:

• python, C/C++, Rust
• Linux
• WebAssembly (future)

Requirements:

●  Experience: 6+ years as a developer, with a strong focus on backend development.

●  Technical Skills: Proficiency in strongly typed languages optimized for performance, such as C, Rust, Scala, or Go. Experience with functional programming, REST APIs, various databases, and Linux environments.

●  Problem-Solving: A result-oriented approach to problem-solving with the ability to work efficiently at a high pace.

●  Team Collaboration: Independence coupled with the ability to work well within a team. English communication skills, primarily in writing, but also verbally for team calls.

●  Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant field.

Bonus Points:

●  Experience with functional programming languages (e.g., Haskell, Scala, Python, C, Rust).

●  Understanding the principles of building IT systems.

●  Familiarity with AWS cloud services, Docker, and other DevOps tools.
