DevOps Engineer

Our client-is a trading company from the USA looking for a DevOps Engineer.

Team members have HFT experience from both tradfi (traditional finance) and crypto, prior experience includes Tower Research Capital, DRW, Amber, and other prop shops. Everyone has a Master degree or above, half of the team members have Ph.D degrees.

The work involves a remote format.

Responsibilities

Optimize data pipelines to deliver real-time and historical data to Quant and Trading teams

Automate developer tools and workflows to enhance productivity

Maintain and enhance high-performance compute solutions for the Quant team

Requirements

2+ years as a DevOps engineer with projects on AWS

Skilled in Bash scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure design (networking, load balancing, CDN), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins/Bitbucket)

Python proficiency

Experience with cloud architecture design and implementation

Experience with optimization of kernel and networking on AWS

Experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Batch, or other high-performance computing solutions is a plus

Experience in CI/CD tool design, implementation, and automation

Familiarity with trading firm DevOps needs is a plus

Work hour: local time 9am to 6pm, remote, can be flexible;
