Due to the rapid growth of the company, we are now looking for a Legal and Compliance Specialist to join our forward-looking team.

As a Legal and Compliance Specialist you will support the company in legal matters and ensuring regulatory compliance.

WHO YOU ARE

You carefully review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

You anticipate legal and compliance challenges, providing timely advice to support business development.

You effectively work with internal teams and external partners to maintain high standards of compliance and integrity.

WHAT YOU DO

Сontract Review and Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including SLA, MSA, DPA and NDAs.
• Ensure contracts comply with internal policies and applicable laws, regulations and best practices.

Business Development Support:

• Collaborate with the Business Development (BizDev) department to provide legal & compliance insights and support for partnerships.
• Evaluate legal risks associated with new business relationships and advise accordingly.

Risk Assessment and Compliance:

• Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Due Diligence (DD) checks on counterparties.
• Perform ongoing monitoring and risk assessment of counterparties to ensure compliance with internal risk-policies.

Regulatory Analysis:

• Analyze and interpret relevant European regulations and legislation affecting the i-gaming industry.
• Provide guidance on the implementation of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with current laws.

Communication with Service Providers:

• Liaise with external service providers, including legal counsel and compliance consultants, to obtain necessary legal opinions and advice.
• Manage relationships with third-party compliance services and oversee their performance.

Legal Opinions and Documentation:

• Supervise the preparation and review of legal opinions and other legal documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain organized records of all legal documents.

WHAT YOU KNOW

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) is required; a Master’s degree or additional certifications in compliance or a related field is a plus.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a legal and compliance role within i-gaming industry or other tech industries with demonstration of exceptional hard skills.
• Demonstrated experience with European Union legal and regulatory frameworks, including AML/KYC regulations, GDPR and MiCA will be a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of contract law and the ability to draft and review complex legal documents (English law).
• Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in analyzing and applying regulations relevant to the i-gaming sector.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• English and Russian language level B2-C1.
