Java Developer (Remote)

Axiom specializes in providing outstaffing and recruitment services for the IT, Back Office, Support, and Market Research industries. We have a track record of success in setting up effective remote command channels and executing complex IT projects. Our company is looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team and work on a new project that will involve the development of a complex, web-based application. The application will involve handling large amounts of data and processing it in real-time, as well as integrating with various external systems and APIs.

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications
• Preparing and producing releases of software components
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Java development
• Experience with web-based application development and design patterns
• Strong knowledge of Java and its ecosystems, including Spring Framework, Hibernate, and JDBC
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Gradle
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with Git and code versioning

• Monthly payments on Payoneer/PayPal/crypto;
• Working schedule: Monday to Friday.
• The standard working day is 8 hours, with 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST being the online availability period.
• The position is offered as a freelance contract.
• Days off and vacations are granted upon prior approval from the employer.
