Senior Node.JS Developer

The leading global financial news & data platform is looking for an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to fast-track our backend development, innovating new features and benefits for our extensive user base.

The most important thing is experience in financial companies or passion for the Financial market/ for the trading market or if you are a trader in your free time

What you’ll be doing:

● Build, optimize, and manage APIs with robust error handling
● Write clean, testable, and easily modifiable code
● Handle complex SQL queries to fetch and write financial time-series data
● Manage and optimize the performance of our ever-growing datasets
● Contribute to the overall software development life-cycle, including design, development, and deployment


Requirements:

● 5+ years of proven software development experience as a developer with deep expertise in Node.js
● Experience with Docker, Postgresql, and MongoDB
○ Familiarity with Go – strong advantage
○ Familiarity with GCP
● Proven experience with managing large volumes of data, considering low latency as a key factor
○ Experience in financial markets is highly valued. However, a keen interest in the financial markets is mandatory
