As a DevOps, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with CI met
by our Development teams. Your responsibilities will include root cause analysis, fast recovery of corresponding services, communication with
the Development teams regarding infrastructure issues, and proactive infrastructure monitoring aimed to prevent possible CI failures. Typical
failures need to be stored in the knowledge base and information on how to deal with them kept updated
Responsibilities:
- Working in shifts to cover non-working hours (nights, weekends, holidays, etc.) within SLAs
- Tier1/Tier2 - communication with the Dev and QA Teams
- Root cause analysis of CI problems on the basis of Jenkins pipeline logs (probably with the help of logs and data from OS/Kibana
/Grafana/Kubernetes) - Small/Medium fixes/optimizations to existing Jenkins CI (Groovy, YAML, Python, Bash)
- Take immediate actions to restore services using an internal knowledgebase and articles, populate this knowledgebase with new recipes if needed
- Monitor automation systems, proactively respond to breakages
- Improve and maintain log aggregation, infrastructure metrics collection and presentation
- Investigate failures on mobile phones used in CI
Ожидания от кандидата
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Linux
- Experienced in working with Jenkins (groovy, shared libraries, pipelines)-basic
- Basic programming skills in Groovy preferably (Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries) or any other programming language such as Java,
Bash scripting, Python shell scripting, etc. - Hand-on experience in building and administering Docker containers
- Hand-on experience in working with Git as a team member
Будет плюсом:
- Experience with Kubernetes;
- Experience with ELK/EFK and/or Grafana stacks;
- Experience with Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics.
