QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer

XO is the leading end-to-end instant-booking platform giving customers the ability to book private jet flights worldwide with as little as six hours’ notice. Catering to clients from the heavy charter flier to a single seat buyer, XO flights are serviced through either Vista Global's fleet, including more than 300 own business jets, or off-fleet, through an Alliance Fleet of over 2,100 aircraft.

The QA engineer will be part of XO engineering team and will be responsible for maintaining exceptional quality of XO products.

Responsibilities:

• - Perform manual testing of new features and functionality on Flyxo.com website, iOS and Android applications
• - Write test cases and use tracking and debugging tools to file, monitor and resolve issues
• - Perform REST/GraphQL API and backend testing

- Help investigate, clarify, and consolidate user-reported issues

• - Collaborate with development, product, and other areas to understand requirements and remove ambiguities
• - Conduct regression testing

- Distribute status reports and test coverage metrics among team leads and management

Mandatory skills:

• - Understanding of testing methodologies and test design techniques.

- Understanding of desktop and mobile OS versions, web browsers, and their general functionality

- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS

• - Basic knowledge of SQL
• - Experience with proxy tools (Charles, Fiddler)

- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail or similar systems

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• - Excellent analytical skills
  
  

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or 3+ years of equivalent experience
