The international company “Morningstar Technlogies” is looking for a Middle DevOPS to join the core team implementing various startup projects (mainly fintech and martech). We build startups from scratch based on concepts that we develop internally. Our portfolio includes a crypto-to-fiat service, a crypto exchange and other projects.

What you will do

• Maintain and extend an infrastructure and cloud solutions (AWS);
• Provide technical support for other teams, perform troubleshooting, and find solutions for challenging problems;
• Work on disaster recovery scenarios and increase the robustness of the supported platforms;
• Doing some task within sprint
• Create POC , like new way of something (CI/CD K8s Cloud etc)
• CI/CD
• K8s (all problems/task)
• AWS Cloud (DevOPS Role = Ec2(Admin),K8s(EditorNS==List Command ))
• Monitoring tools

Responsibility: Jira Task (Epic,Issue); Support (if DevOPS Support is not available); SLA (partly) like on-call.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Logging culture

2. Understanding how Prometheus metrics work, API standards, GRPC, JSON-RPC, WebSocket, principles of public API evolution, Micro service architecture

3. Authentication and Authorization

4. Database knowledge: 

• Understanding locking (Optimistic and Pessimistic)
• Experience building a cluster in Kubernetes
• Ability to perform service actions like backup (full, data only), restore (full, data only)
• Migrations

5. Good experience with bash, zsh, sh

6. AWS Cloud

7. Docker

• Understanding/writing a Dockerfile
• Debugging skills with docker CLI

8. CI/CD

• Understanding/writing CI/CD
• Debugging skills with docker CI/CD

9. Monitoring tools

• Understanding/writing Monitoring tools
• Debugging skills with docker monitoring tools

10. Helm

• Understanding how the chart works
• Understanding how overriding works in values ​​files
• Understanding how templates are arranged, how they work, what functions they have
• Understanding how template snippets work and how context is passed there

11. Kubernetes

• Knowledge of basic entities
• Ability to debug with kubectl

12. Knowledge of English: Intermediate +
