Lead\Senior Front-end Developer (React)

SaM Solutions is looking for strong Frontend Developer in new project for customer from the Netherland.

Project is a new search tool, which is service-oriented from technical perspective. The project derives its origin from client's project to combine various search techniques into one cooperating interface. Leaning heavily on ideas derived over many years from patent examiners, Ansera provides the user the possibility to search with plain text, search with a custom developed query language and allows examiners to search with figures.

The products are organised around three pillars:

• External Search Service (ESS) providing access to an externally hosted index in an Ansera-like interface (the new search platform)
• Assisted Web Search (AWS) assisting the user in a generic internet search and providing further assistance for recognized sites.
• Back-end tools (BET) providing tools to manage the two products above.

Technical knowledge:

JavaScript, Typescript, React, Mobx/Redux, Microservices, microfrontends, SPA, PWA, Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git.

English - (spoken and written) intermediate level.

Ansera is a suite of applications developed around Elasticsearch search engine.

It includes:

• Ansera GUI a JavaScript frontend bringing together several services: searches in Elasticsearch, persistence in UCS/STIC, data retrieval from SIS and KIME;
• Elasticsearch backend includes several plug-ins developed for the Elasticsearch platform to support indexing and searching patent-specific data;
• PQL a specialized query language module providing an extended "EPOQUE-like" query syntax for the searches;
• DataLoader a scheduled "crawler" that collects the data from KIME and sends it to Elasticsearch backend for indexing. It also runs an OCR of the facsimile pages and sends the found references annotations back to KIME;
• SIS (Search Input Service) a REST service for retrieving patent application information (in TEI format) from various downstream services (Dossier Services, FTM, OCR-Text, BNS, etc.);
• UCS (User Context Service) REST persistence backend for storing users' data (work log, preferences, etc.); recently extended with the "STIC functionality".
