Senior Golang developer (Fully Remote)

Hello! We are looking for a Remote Golang expert for projects in the field of IoT or Bluetooth solutions for Berlin company. You will join the international team on one of the IOT/ ML projects for Schwartzkopf. 

YOUR ROLE
You will join a cross-functional project team that is part of the software engineering department. The project is a software platform (iOS app as frontend, Golang) that is powering IoT hardware which is used by thousands of professionals all around the globe.

Your domain expertise should be in backend development (Golang).

YOUR PROFILE
Mindset:
Passion for simple code that is functional and easy to understand and to maintain
Focus on delivering quality centered around a great experience for the user
Strong self-organizer with a hands-on mentality
Product focus

Technologies:
3-5 years of experience in Golang development
Product focus and an understanding of the business problem the software is solving

Methodologies and tools:
Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Jira, Confluence, Git
Test-driven development

Communication:
Experience in working in an international, intercultural, distributed team (a benefit, not obligatory)
Excellent communication skills in English to the internal team and the business client
Experience with team chats (Slack or Mattermost) and video calls
