Performance Analyst

The role’s purpose is to have the Latest Estimates roll-forward forecast properly prepared on a monthly basis in collaboration with Portfolio and Vertical leaders, incorporating historical trends, seasonality, similar case patterns, business insights and assumptions, previous forecasts. Another interlinked purpose is to have Portfolio and Vertical leaders to understand financial and relevant operational performance from different perspectives: historically, vs. budget / previous LE forecasts, vs. changes in other P&L items.

The position requires analytical skills to investigate business cases (with sensitive variations), challenge assumptions of business groups, find mistakes/inconsistencies in data, check managerial reporting data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly analytical reports to explain actual variations of financial performance from different perspectives: historically, vs. budget / previous LE forecasts, vs. changes in other P&L items;
• Lead monthly LE meetings with portfolio managers to explain results of the last month and update the forecast;
• Prepare monthly analytical reports to overview forecast updates made on portfolio level and communicate them to Vertical leaders, as well as overview for Verticals -> Group leaders;
• Maintain and update LE models to reflect updates of client business models, new clients, and client redistribution between divisions;
• Analyzing labor allocations to portfolio/verticals, discussing results with portfolio managers, investigating anomalies, posting updates, chasing bad reporters / raising issues to relevant managers;
• Maintaining labor and HW allocations models, as well as supporting headcount and RU labor files;
• Analyzing client trends to set baselines for trend-based forecasts;
• Enriching forecasting data with relevant perspectives to support annual/semiannual budgets;
• Maintain managerial reporting dictionaries and mapping tables;
• Ad hoc tasks regarding:
  • benchmark analysis of financial performance of main players in the industry, including: analyzing public financial reports and industry trends;
  • financial planning for new initiatives;
• Other work based on the direct manager requests.

Role Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Math or economics;
• 3-7 years of business experience;
• Good command of English;
• Analytical and reasoning skills;
• Goal-oriented and willingness to roll up sleeves and meet deadlines;
• Reliable.
