Regular QA Automation (Python) Engineer

We are working on development of modern and future technologies of Autonomous Drive with the highest demands in safety and reliability. You will perform end-to-end test activities for a data reprocessing system on cloud-based platforms. The project consists of several scrum development teams (6-7 people) with whom you will work in close collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Back-end functional testing, including but not only REST API testing;
• Test design activities;
• Cross-team interaction;
• Support of development team and customers with adhoc requests;
• Test documentation creation;
• Defect reporting and management;
• Test results reporting;
• Estimation of testing activities;
• Proactive project process improvement.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Test automation: strong understanding of test automation levels and principles, solid grasp on typical test automation workflows, experience with test automation in commercial projects;
• Python: above junior level knowledge, experience with using any Python testing framework (we use pytest and unittest);
• Understanding of general cloud concepts: Not specifically tied to any particular platform, just overall understanding of what does the cloud do, as our work in entirely done there;
• English - upper intermediate: To be able to work with colleagues from different countries and read technical documentation.
