Azure DevOps Engineer

VIAcode are looking for Azure DevOps engineer to join Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team in Cloud Support department. On this position you will need to focus on ensuring high system reliability, working closely with customers. Splits time between operations and developing systems and software that help increase site reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• Working experience in Windows and Linux platforms
• Solid understanding of modern SRE/DevOps practices
• Hands-on with automation, monitoring and data analytics tools
• Working experience in some of the modern cloud providers: Azure, AWS, GCP
• Understanding of common database technologies, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of ITIL Service Management framework such as Incident, Problem, and Change
• English language enough for reading technical documentation and written communication
• Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
• Analyze usage and utilization trends to make appropriate design and implementation recommendations
• Identify and troubleshoot performance and stability issues; assist engineering team in troubleshooting of production issues
• Analyze the error streams from various sources
• Actively participate in Postmortem/RCA for incidents
• Work with customers to improve reliability and scalability of Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS infrastructures
