Senior PHP Developer (Symfony)

Looking for an experienced PHP developer to co-lead the development of RELAYTO backend APIs & services.

— PHP 7/8, Symfony 4/5 & Doctrine
— SAML, OAuth 2.0, JWT 
— REST APIs
— Experience with AWS infrastructure with the emphasize security & privacy
— Logging with Monolog & Rollbar
— Integrations with third-parties systems and asynchronous jobs
— MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Memcached
— Mercure
— Twig & email templating
— Apache/Nginx
— Experience architecting scalable software systems
— Strict adherence to clean code paradigms
— Used to test-driven development
— Experience with lean workflows, git-flow
— Upper-Intermediate level of English

At RELAYTO, you will be a part of a small international team in London, San Francisco & Paris, operating primarily via Slack & Asana and communicating directly with the CTO. The responsibilities range from extending backend architecture to building new global backend services that are related to the core RELAYTO business.

In all your work there will be a constant focus on security and privacy. In addition, you will participate in brainstorming sessions about the roadmap, solutions for clients problems, and design exercises. This position requires someone comfortable with working in Agile requirements and participating in planning meetings with your team/other parts of the business to help explain the technology and define the requirements.
