Senior Billing Engineer

We offer intelligent cloud solutions and develop software solutions for communication services. Our development office is in Moscow and our sales / marketing offices are based in Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Ukraine and Italy.

We are building general-purpose communication platform Apifonica (https://apifonica.com) to manage voice and communication services in real time. Basing on this platform we also implement complex custom solutions for large clients, such as SkyEng, Yandex LLC (abroad activities), Google LLC, Sportium (Spain), Hebe (Poland), Exponea (Poland), LPP (Poland) and others.

We are looking for a Senior Billing engineer to help us maintain and support current solutions, as well as building end-to-end financial reporting, migrating to new billing and integrating with business applications.

Main job responsibilities:

• Operation on billing system (creation, loading rates etc.),
• Preparing data for end-to-end financial reporting processes,
• Participating in projects for integration of billing and external information systems,
• Operating on scripts for monthly reporting,
• Participating in new billing migration project.

Required skills:

• Required experience in both telecom and billing systems,
• High expertise SQL, PL/SQL (indexes, subqueries, partitions, hints, statistics and query plans, table functions, analytical functions).
• Experience in working with Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, MySQL databases,
• Experience with large amounts of billing data (300M per month, 10B for overall),
• Experience with general productivity analysis, searching for "bottlenecks",
• Initiative and independent project management.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with PortaOne PortaBilling, JeraSoft products,
• Experience in changing billing systems and in client migration,
• Experience in building analytical ClickHouse queries.
