Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Engineer for development and support of DDN’s cloud-based software solutions.
You will also participate in research and development to enable continuing innovation within DDN’s cloud solution portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Integrating DDN product with all major cloud providers - starting with GCP/AWS
• Developing cloud storage solutions using DDN technologies
• Contributes to the design and deployment of solutions, and assists with troubleshooting issues and challenges
• Providing training, documentation and engineering-level support for these solutions to the DDN support and field organizations
• Communicate effectively with individuals of varying technical abilities and professional backgrounds

Main qualifications 

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  
• 5+ years of experience working in Linux environments with Python
  
• Strong background in deploying software in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), including best practices and troubleshooting skills
• Solid understanding of fundamental technology such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, web servers, firewall, SSL, security best practices
• Knowledge of Lustre filesystem would be a bonus
  
• Experience with Terraform would be a bonus
