Computer Vision Researcher

Texel is looking for computer vision and deep learning researcher, who will be able to work with us on human-related projects, experiment and propose new ways of improving current technics.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, test, iteratively improve, and document various human body parsing techniques;

• Organize and optimize current solutions;

• Achieve the team goal to deliver an exceptional vision experience/service by improving performance and accuracy of our computer vision software.

Required skills and qualifications

• Knowledge of Python with 1+ year experience;

• Proficient understanding of linear algebra and mathematical analysis;

• Strong experience with scientific Python libraries (numpy, scipy, scikit libs, etc.);

• Competence with Linux;

• Strong debugging skills;

• Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git;

• Scientific English (at least upper-intermediate).

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Knowledge of statistics and probability theory;

• Experience with machine learning and deep learning;

• Knowledge of C++
