Manager Software Engineering, DPA

General Summary 

We are looking for passionate and experienced Manager that embrace technical challenges and leading the group that drive QA strategy and execution, Automation, InterOp and critical customer escalations  for DPA product. In addition, Manager is expected to participate and contribute to overall solution testing strategy for Data Protection Suite.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and provides challenging yet appropriate assignments to the team members, evaluates work, communicates progress toward career development and goals.
• Collaborates cross functionally with engineering employees and other engineering groups, voluntarily shares information, fosters teamwork and collaboration.
• Develops solutions to difficult problems, which may require ingenuity and creativity, communicates progress toward project/program goals; influences future product/program direction.
• Interfaces with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs and technical knowledge.
• Accountable for HR processes and actions.

Work Experience and Education

• BS or MS in technical field required (engineering, computer science, etc.).
• 4+ years of managerial experience.

Required Competencies

• Proven experience in managing 10+ engineers.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Ability to lead cross departments processes, ability to lead implementation of new processes.
• Ability to understand wide perspective system view, strong QA functional expertise
• Fluent English.
• Experience in Enterprise grade products.
