Solution Java Architect

Atlassian Practice is a kind of startup inside Luxoft company. It's one of the largest Atlassian Expert in Central and Eastern Europe (~60 employees) and includes:

Platforms/Solutions development (integrated project management, portal, hiring and gamification systems based on Atlassian tools) Product development (Jira and Confluence add-ons) Mobile development Consulting and implementation services

Our clients: large and medium enterprise clients from energy, finance, retail and IT areas.

Responsibilities:

Lead project analysis and implementation phases as Solution Architect Have a vision and development strategy for the implemented solution Understand of corporate IT architecture Assist in gathering requirements Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout duration of the project Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document Participate and lead, when needed, project meetings with the customer Participate in pre-sales activities

Skills Required:

Experience as Java Developer or Configuration Engineer for more than 3 years and deep knowledge of Atlassian products: Jira, Confluence, Crowd Experience in design, configuration or support of distributed and high-available systems Familiarity and knowledge of Java + web stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) technologies Apache, Tomcat server administration Unix/Linux administration Advanced SQL, PL/SQL Good verbal and written English Strong client interface, verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skill Experience in distributed development team is a must Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools Knowledge of enterprise application architecture

Nice to have:

Experience in Atlassian products' plugins development strongly preferred
