DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Rollout and support internal and external users on multiple platforms
• Automate application deployments using configuration management technology
• Deploy new modules, upgrades and fixes to multiple environment
• Adapt existing system architectures to new data center environments
• Coordinate internal and external providers to ensure effective collaboration
• Develop tools and applications to improve customer satisfactionEducate customers and teammates on best practices
• Document and complete knowledge transfer to the rest of the team
• Rotating on-call duties

Qualifications:

• 3 years+ of experience in system operations, systems engineering, cloud services or related discipline
• Experience programming in one of Go, Node, Java, PythonFamiliarity with PostgreSQL/MySQL
• System level Docker knowledge
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Extensive Linux experience that includes: Linux implementations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Experience with Jenkins
• Strong knowledge of ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Hashicorp Terraform and Hashicorp Vault
• Familiarity with RedisStrong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to thrive in a team environment
