Senior Go Engineer

Sphere Software is looking for an experienced Go Engineer to join our collaborative engineering team. As a member of our team you will build high load, large scale systems for market leading travel and transportation industry. Preferred location: Moscow, but remote candidates will be reviewed also.

ABOUT YOU:

• Degree in Computer Science, other engineering field or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years of experience with Go
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a big advantage
• Excellent English speaking skills and a great communicator
• Attitude of creating high quality code, learning from peers and always innovating
• Comfortable with Linux
• Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation
• Detail oriented, flexible and can work well in a global team-oriented environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build implementation code, review code with Go and Ruby programming languages
• Focus on core functionality, design and development
• Contribute to design of application architecture
• Interface with global engineering and operation teams
• Improve performance, availability and scalability of our systems and services
