Senior Web developer/ Development Lead

We are looking for experienced and energetic software leader who can take end-to-end responsibility for the whole platform and lead our software development team.

Required skills and expertise:

• 5+ y/e in complete product development lifecycle including backend activities, deployment, production monitoring and 3rd-party systems integration including billing, metering, monitoring, notifications and alerts
• Hands-on experience in coding for backend side of the systems with Java or Node.js or Python
• Experience in MongoDB (understanding of replica set and sharding)
• Experience in running live web-systems on production with responsibilities for system performance, DBs load, backup/restore
• Understanding of one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular.js / React / Ember)
• Experience with SCRUM / Agile methodologies
• Good English (both oral and written skills), able to communicate clearly and effectively with the customer directly

Desired skills:

• Full-stack developer with experience in Node.js, Angular.js or other front-end JS frameworks
• NFC / RFID / field application experience
• Experience with backend as a service providers - Parse or similar
• Experience with BigData systems and modern BigData technologies
• Experience in working with US/Europe/Israel clients

Job duties:

• Define architecture solutions on the top of existing platform to achieve better response time, availability through different regions considering existing limits and constraints on the 3rd-party services for some target markets
• Create and execute development plans, revise appropriately to meet change requests and perspectives needs
• Keep project manager well informed of status of development effort and serve as liaison between development staff and project manager
• Own the development lifecycle and be responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project
• Communicate with the team and enforce coding standards
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule
• Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients
