Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

Exante (exante.eu) is looking for Senior Quality Assurance Engineer on tests automation for backend projects.

Exante is a brokerage company that aims to give its clients access to a broad range of financial instruments and markets. Its headquarters are located in Malta and it holds a Category 2 Investment Services License issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).

As a QA person for Exante you will join an experienced team working in the area of trading, finance and software development. You will have the unique opportunity to take part in business procedures such as planning, development and delivering the software products.

QA team at Exante is using advanced technologies to ensure the high quality. We write autotests on Erlang, Scala and Python.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

∙ Personal responsibility for the company backend projects

∙ Tests automation

∙ Performance testing

∙ Support business, test and instructions documentation

∙ Taking part in release procedures and planning

Requirements:

∙ Work experience in QA >2 years

∙ University degree in relevant disciplines: computer science, maths, physics

∙ Test automation experience with Java or Python (or any other language)

∙ Load testing experience

∙ Intermediate English level (or higher)

∙ Good communication skills

Preferred:

∙ Experience with Erlang or Scala or other functional programming language

∙ Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl)

∙ Basic knowledge in trading
