Our company is looking for a talented UX Designer. This is a new position for our company, although we have always been passionate about developing products that make users very happy. We are looking for someone to be our voice in the room who can pull usability principles out of a hat during design reviews. We want someone who is eager to learn everything possible about user experiences and who will cultivate a user-focused culture in our company, so that we can continue to be a company that transforms human experience for the better.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and designers to create the best UX for our websites, desktop products, web products, and mobile applications.
• Define functionality, content, navigation, and interaction models through page level wireframes, site maps, use cases, and functional requirements documentation.
• Explore many different approaches to solving a specific user problem and ensure that the product flows logically from one step to the next.
• Design, develop, and conduct usability tests, as applicable, to validate information architecture and design.
• Perform extensive user research and develop detailed knowledge of users and their tasks.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction and vision of products from a user experience perspective.
• Research the latest tools, best practices, and trends.

Requirements

• Degree preferred in a design-related discipline.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Fluent understanding of user-centered design methods and techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of standard UX software applications.
• Proficient to expert fluency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent written and spoken English is a great advantage.
