Early stage start-up is looking for Co-founder / Hands-on CTO

We are looking for an awesome Co-founder / CTO with comprehensive technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. You will have real prowess in programming, architecture and scalability. A proven track record of successfully leading teams of programmers using modern software development methodologies.

Ultimately we are looking for real hero, who has a great passion for creating robust, scalable and reliable architectures to support an awesome end product! The position is full-time and requires relocation to Germany.

You have an opportunity to create “one more thing”in the medical market. You will also independently lead the development and hire new people for technical part of the company.

Here are the kinds of skills we're looking for:

Hands-on.You have extensive experience in software engineering and you are not afraid of taking an active part in the development. This is especially important as at the early stage you are going to be the only developer on the team.

Solid Background in Web app development. You have an intimate knowledge of the whole web stack, you understand how all the pieces fit together (front & back-end, database, network layer, etc.) and how they impact the performance of your application.

You understand modern web application frameworks and technologies and know weak and strong points of them.

Strong architecture chops.You know how to build highly scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant services that support our unique rate-of-growth requirements. You stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends.

Mentorship. You know that the most important part of your job is setting the team up for success. Through mentoring, teaching, and reviewing, you help other engineers make sound architectural decisions, improve their code quality, and get out of their comfort zone.

Design and business acumen.You understand requirements beyond the written word. Your attention to details leads to a delightful user experience.
