SharePoint Senior Developer

Work Description
Sharepoint Programmer is developing software in various customer projects for Tieto customers. Sharepoint Programmer has to be socially skilled, ready to work as part of global development teams, aware of latest development methods and quality processes and follow the security and/or other similar kind of policies given by Tieto and/or customers.
The main tasks for the Sharepoint Programmer are:
Leading of Software Development team in customer projects
Quality control work of the Software Development team
Software Development according to specifications or an agile development method.
Software testing & quality management issues
Implementation of software to testing or production environment
Consulting/supporting customers related to the software.
Solving problems, innovating new solutions, participating architecture discussions and knowledge sharing with the colleagues.
Constant learning about new technologies & training.
Problem solving for workstation, server, network and application related problems.
Using common, agreed processes and tools for development, source code management, unit testing, RUP etc.
Working hours are between 9-18 local time from Monday to Friday. Total normal working time per person is 8 hours per day making totally 40 hours a week.


Personnel and/or Economical responsibilities
There are no formal personnel or economical responsibilities for this position. It is more of a solo work but with a constant tight cooperation.

Reporting to Head of Development department in St Petersburg

Travelling
The Sharepoint Programmer will sometimes be travelling to other regional offices.

Education

Technical university degree or similar knowledge gained elsewhere.
Qualifications and Experience

Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2010, 2013 (at least 3 implemented projects)
Ability to work with SharePoint third party tools including migration tools, Info path, Designer and others
substantial knowledge of ASP.Net and web-based technologies
SQL Server
Technical sales support
Team work
Testing / quality management
Making definitions (Unified Model Language etc.)
Version control (TFS)
.Net framework
Good English and Russian
