Junior / Middle Python Engineer

A small crypto enthusiasts oriented project. The project goal is to create a free clone of https://okotoki.com to research the market properties and potentially sell the product to a well-known company aggregating smaller crypto projects. The project starts as the team is assembled. Backend work is estimated to take 3-4 months for a junior engineer and slightly faster for a middle level engineer

About you

• you are familiar with Python and Linux environments
• know how to get and transform data from HTTP based API (e.g. using requests library)
• you're an efficient communicator
• english B2

You will

• develop a scalable backend in Python consolidating multiple streams of orderflow data from popular crypto exchanges: Binance, Bybit, etc
• persistent data will be stored in PostgreSQL. Real-time might be need to be cached
• develop REST API and websocket APIs
• collaborate with a front end engineer on internal API specifications
• collaborate with a devops engineer on project deployment and scalability

The job is fully remote. We can provide additional equipment like displays, desks and chairs in Samara if necessary
