Business Applications Developer

Institute of Directors is currently in search of experienced Business Application Developer for one of Luxembourg banks. 

JOB HOLDER PROFILE

A) EDUCATION BACKGROUND

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science
• At least 5 years of work experience in the role of Business Application Developer

B) TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

•  Proven experience as an application developer with expertise in Python3 and relational SQL databases
• Experience with Python modules like pandas, polars, FastAPI, starlette, pyodbc
• Proven experience with MS SqlServer is a strong advantage
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

C) OTHER TECHNICAL SKILLS

•  Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS is considered as an asset
• Familiarity with JetBrain's TeamCity, Docker is considered as a plus
• Preferably knowledge of Avaloq API and database structure
• Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language is a plus

D) SOFT SKILLS/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Attention to detail, delivering work of a high quality, free from errors
• Ability to structure work efficiently and meet deadlines

E) LANGUAGES

• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Knowledge of Russian, French or German is considered an asset
